IPSWWA (IPS Wives Welfare Association) has completed a little more than a decade successfully since its inception on 18th December, 2008. In these 14 years of its existence IPSWWA has grown to new heights under the able guidance of our seniors and with co-operation and support of all its members.
It’s a privilege to assume the responsibility as President of IPSWWA. The main objective of this association is to work for the welfare of policemen/policewomen and their families. A lot has been done since its formation and much more is to achieve in the years to come.

It is indeed a profound privilege for me to assume the role of Secretary of the IPS Wives Welfare Association (IPSWWA), alongside our newly constituted committee on 12th July 2025.
In my earlier tenure as Joint Secretary, I had the honour of serving IPSWWA under the exemplary guidance of our President, Mrs. Akashi Deka, former Secretary, Mrs. Geeta Pathak, and Treasurer, Mrs. Reena Luthra, over the past three years. Their unwavering encouragement, mentorship, and support have been instrumental in furthering the welfare initiatives dedicated to the families of our police personnel.
Together, we have consistently strived to extend meaningful assistance to police families in need—particularly in the critical areas of healthcare, education, and sports. Under the visionary leadership of our President, Mrs. Akashi Deka, the newly formed committee remains steadfast in its commitment to uphold the core values and objectives upon which IPSWWA was founded.
